Mourinitis

Newpaper 26 Dec 2006

Didier Drogba: (okay this is damn funny) This is not vanity but reality. I believe that, today, I am the best in the League. The number one in world football?I do not say that but it is definitely possible!
Michael Essien: We are much better Manchester United. The difference in points in the Premiership is just a coincidence. It is just a matter of days before we are the leaders

Chelsea 2-2 Reading
Michael Essien equalises for Reading. Ashley Cole became a favourite back at Arsenal

Manchester United 3-1 Wigan
Cristiano Ronaldo zam-med in 2 goals within 5 minutes of coming up as a substitute straight in the second half. Ole Gunnar Solksjaer scored his first goal in his first match since the knee relapse. Highly-rated Wigan skipper Baines scored a penalty late in the game.

the end

yea thx nice way to end things...i may seem so dumb but i'm happie yea

Just take it sometime
Doubt give enough will
To change your state of mind
Just try to understand Its not so hard to see
That i am just a man

Time won't flow
Everyone knows
When the pain fades away
Dreams wont die
Tears in our eyes
You got to hold your hand up high

Home

Back from YEP...quite a different trip altogether from where i've gone to since young...but whatever it bought me alot of life experiences

these are my experiences...you can refer to wil's, pong's and regina's blogs for their experiences
and i'll blog to the fullest details so that i can rmb for life

7th-8th Dec
3 hours of air flight to Manila Airport...wah seh their toilets in the capital airport CMI like the toilets we have here in our kopitiams...met up with Rudi our coordinator over at Philippines...then the 2nd part of the travelling...a fricking 3hrs ride in a coach...but on the way we caught alot of scenaries...the first part looks like JB...den after getting out of Manila...many run-down buildings and slums came into sights and of course natural views like imba-ly big volcanoes and streams...the coach suddenly swerve into a run-down building..(everyone: if this is the hotel i'll faint)...the coach stops...(everyone: we are only stopping here for a break)...Rudi: okae guys let's get off...(everyone: KNNBCCB)...yea so u can roughly imagine the state of the hotel...nigel and i have actually urgent business to do with the toilet bowl...but when we saw the state of the rooms...the sai like automatically kena absorbed back into the rectum lol...our room was linked to wilson and teerapong room...we quickly unpacked and set off to St. Dominic Village...during the 15 minutes ride there on a jeepney(a damn cute vehicle which functions like half a bus and half a taxi)...we came across this super strong smell dat smells like super chao da stuff and according to nigel...it is a cookie which kena an atomic bomb LOL...

we were greeted by super bumpy roads and lovely kids..the village looks v peaceful...with a coconut trees plantation on one side and a giant mountain on the other...we were brought to a chapel for briefing...it is actually used as a multi-purpose area for the village events..Gerald the one in-charge of building quickly brief us on our roles and we set off for a half-day work...we were introduced to the construction tools...cement-mixing machine, shovels, wheelbarrows, and yea last but not least a near 2m metal rod with a metal chunk attached below to loosen soil...and it became lengendary after it was named by us as a zam-mer..cause it's supposed to zam (z-arm) into the ground...half of the group went to lay the floor on a half-completed house with cement while the other half went to start the foundations of a playground for the village kids...the area is about a basketball court size one for the 200 kids in the village...we level the ground, lay bricks for the boundaries and yes zam the ground for a trench...super shag la construction work without machines

went back to the hotel after work...den the super imba smell came on the way and Rudi explains that it is the smell of coconut oil being processed...suddenly the hotel appears to comfy to us after we had seen wad conditions the villagers are living in...nabei we still got air-con can...after freshening up...we went for dinner with some of the local authorities at a restaurant..food was nice but philippinos like to have alot of salt in their food...den we had a singing session which daniel totally melt the hearts of the "aunties" there with his christmas songs lol...the rest of us jus stone la basically...den we went back to the hotel for some night games in nigel and my room which after the night known as the multi-purpose room cause every night people will come to our room for night activities...yew yee our dearest adult volunteer introduce us to this game called the drinking game...by the end of the game our bladders all cannot maintain lol

9th Dec
we resumed work waking up damn early...over there 6am looks like 9am and 6pm looks like 9pm lol...we did the same work as the previous day...mi and nigel started off with clearing off a mountain of fine sand then making them into cement to lay the bricks...it was tough work under the searing sun and we had regular breaks every day...after lunch...we continued work...this time mi and nigel went over to build a brick wall for the boundaries of the playground...less tedious la...many more kids came out to play today and greeted us...esp shermaine who got lotsa kids swarming around her LOL like a mother liddat (so wenxiang is ah pa la heh)...during the break...i spotted a damn cute boy called Jouma...super shy boy who dun like people to carry him...so i couldnt get to carry him by the end of the day at all la...

we had this house presentation ceremony to five new families joining the village and our team has the pleasure of being the presentors..we presented the house keys, bibles and light candles to let them follow the way of God...and had great fun as the whole village was out for this event

we went shopping at a nearby mall...and the stuff are realli cheap to the max la...this is the conversion rate $1=P33...look damn real imitated adidas sneakers for 260 Pesos, a haircut for 80Pesos...a leg massage and pedicure for 200 Peso..the guys were totally own by the girls la...they are jus loaded with bags den the guys jus bought puma socks lol...we had KFC for dinner...ji bong lor one zinger meal costs onli 62 Pesos...about 2 bucks here lor

we had the drinking game again and ghost stories from everywhere...and of course the guys kept coming up with stories how yew yee get raped by the zam-mer LOL

10th Dec
Rain rain Rain rain Rain rain Rain
we couldn't go to the waterfalls that we are supposed to get a water ride...fking sian la...and cannot work somemore..

so we went SHOPPING at another mall...woah i can tell u the looks on regina's and ethel's faces...cannot maintain to the max LOL...the stuff there is jus imba-ly cheap la...we bought a basketball and basketball net fix up at the village basketball court...which is really called "Street basketball" lol...anyway in Philippines...they are onli concerned bout basketball and gives no shit to soccer...their sports newspaper have no news bout soccer and it took us a few hours to finally find out the score between arsenal and chelsea lol

when we returned to the entrance after about 3 hours...we see the girls loaded with bags and bags smiling damn happily like some 40 year old auntie strike lottery liddat lol...but this time we din get owned too much by the girls la...we bought some shirts and jeans yay

den dinner at a Spainish where we had damn nice roasted chicken and fried rice and we saw Imba haha

we switched to playing Polar Bear this night cause we were jus damn sick of the harm the drinking game is doing to our bladders haha...it was damn fun la..everyone becoming sly dogs and nigel and wil are damn imba bears la

11th Dec
morning rain damn hard again...we went to take shelter in the chapel...we borrowed the guitars to play for a while before i took a damn long look at the basketball we bought..den suddenly captain's ball came to my mind...the kids of the village were jio-ed to the chapel and taught how to play...den we decided to demo to them after looking at them all playing to basketball rules lol...we shame la broke a light ourselves lol though we warned them not to throw so high...so we went out to the streets to play and the kids had a damn fun time playing with water splashing everywhere...den i tot to myself how they are so easily contented with wad they have...a simple life is like..(nigel: eh why u emo back back)...oh yaya we continued work...starting to lay the floor of the 2nd house and continuing with the trench at the playground...the ground was almost levelled other than a damn high pile of sand which we had to level...the village boys were jio-ed to help out as well...while the rest do this...mi wil nigel and yy continued with the imba trench we had to make 60cm deep lor wah lieww but we had a damn time digging like some miners and removing huge rocks below...

we den travelled damn far to a restaurant..which is like breeding mozzis everywhere la...ponds everywhere...we had these courses which we can only eat with our hands...wah sang

12th Dec
Last day at the village...we chiong work like siao...mi daniel wenxiang and shermaine were handed a damn tough task...that is to exacuate a hole deep enough to bury a boulder which looks at least 800kg to me...we jus keep zamming and shovelling to make sure we complete this task by the end of the day...there was this water transporting pipe near the area we are exacuating which we must make sure we must not zam it...but yes i zam it not once but twice LOL course i'm the zammer mah....the 2nd time was damn funny and malu...the pipe was beneath the soil so i din see it...after a series of zamming...i asked shermaine "wah got water to drink anot ah"? and at the same time zamming the zammer down to rest...out spurts the water which stun mi completely...lol the village boys den help to stop the water with rubber tubing...

and yes we manage to dig a hole deep enough for the boulder to fall into but we were saddened when Gerald told us they would onli zam the rock down the next day...after work...we chionged to take photos of the village and villagers....it was just a damn touching sight...and i finally got to carry Jouma in my arms...wah seh damn song lor lol...the guys piggyback-ing the boys and the kids pestering the girls for photo-taking

for the farewell dinner...we performed the song wherever you will go by the calling..and wilson performed his first guitar gig lol

we had a damn imba concentrated voka which yy bought...i got drunk and started spouting nonsense and singing nonsense LOL and poor pong got zam by me haha paiseh ah...shag la woke up then can't realli rmb wad i did

13th Dec
went back in early morning to the village...and 4 of us were damn happy the boulder got moved into the hole...den travelled to the airport at Manila...3 hours ride again sang la everyone slept like pigs...budget terminal is realli budget nabei rain den our luggages got all wet...bidded goodbye to all

heya it's not the end of the trip yet..now is the start of the next phase of our lives with new life perspectives
